Check List for Running

To make your run more enjoyable, you should consider having the following things available at each run session:

  • good pair of runners - while stilettos might be the latest fashion craze (again), runners are the best bet for running. And don't even think about those old comfy sneakers you have had since high school - they may be comfy, but they won't give you much support or protection. A good pair of running shoes will keep you running or walking with less chance of injury!

Some "nice to have" things include:

  • sports bra - a good one will keep things where you want them... 'nuff said
  • hat - for sunny days and rainy days (but not so good on really windy days... did anyone come across my black cap that blew off into the river last year?)
  • waist pack with a water bottle - lets you stay hydrated on long runs on warm days and gives you a place to stow your keys, etc.
